know I'm compiling quite a notebook from your training
materials and your newsletters. I was thinking
about my attitude and calm feeling last Friday.
I have an Apple position with a cost basis of $47.27.
I have a Nov $65 short call which I sold 10/31 for $.65
credit. When Apple fell $1.50 a share, I didn't
sweat and worry like I usually would. I found
myself realizing that if good old apple would fall a
little more, I'd keep my stock and that would be JUST
FINE. On the other hand, If I get assigned I'm
selling my stock for $60 and that is, again, JUST

back in February or not but it closed successfully today.
Here's the story... Just closed a covered call option
trade today on Goodyear Tire. Was way cool. Took 5 months
to complete. Two days after I placed the trade buying
8,000 shares of stock (and selling 80 call contracts),
the company came out with an "accounting irregularities"
memorandum. Since then I've been in repair mode.
It closed very successfully in the end and I made $10,590
in profits after commissions! Invested a little under
$40K. Used 2:1 margin. Made 26% total profit
after commissions or a tad under 5% per month! Sold
GT right at the high, too. Am delighted about the trade."

Calculator. Yesterday, I was able to unwind DELL at a nice 5% profit,
having been in the trade for only 10 days. The calculator made it
easy to see that by buying back the call and selling the appreciated
stock, it made sense to unwind the trade. Another successful example
that the calculator helped me with yesterday is UNH. It has proven
