back in February or not but it closed successfully today.
Here's the story... Just closed a covered call option
trade today on Goodyear Tire. Was way cool. Took 5 months
to complete. Two days after I placed the trade buying
8,000 shares of stock (and selling 80 call contracts),
the company came out with an "accounting irregularities"
memorandum. Since then I've been in repair mode.
It closed very successfully in the end and I made $10,590
in profits after commissions! Invested a little under
$40K. Used 2:1 margin. Made 26% total profit
after commissions or a tad under 5% per month! Sold
GT right at the high, too. Am delighted about the trade."
